Creating extension materials

Extension materials must motivate change

Extension material can be:

  • verbal recommendations
  • extension bulletins/brochures
  • posters
  • radio dramas
  • videos

Extension messages should be simple and motivate the target audience — rice farmers, for example — to change the way they do something.
