India Rice Knowledge Bank

IRRI has closely worked with the Rice Knowledge Management Portal (RKMP) consortium of India, in developing a state of art semantic portal on rice.

RKMP now serves as an information highway for sharing rice knowledge across India. It has several global firsts in terms of comprehensiveness and utility. Built on web 2.0 standards, this portal caters to location specific information needs of many stakeholders in local languages.

The India Rice Knowledge Bank is managed by the Directorate of Rice Research (DRR).
The focal person is Dr. Shaik N. Meera, Senior Scientist and Consortium Principal Investigator, RKMP.
