You are now leaving the IRRI managed Knowledge Bank and entering the Nepal site. The Nepal Rice Knowledge Bank (or more popularly known as the NRKB) is managed by a content group chaired by the
Dr. Dil P. Sherchan, Director, Crops and Horticulture Research and Chairman of High Level Committee of NRKB. The NRKB is being developed in close partnership with IRRI Nepal.

The focal person is Mr. Bhola Man Singh Basnet, Chief, Communication, Publication and Documentation Division, NARC, Nepal (email: cpdd@narc.org.np; basnetbms@yahoo.com).

The NRKB focuses on ensuring up to date knowledge for extension workers and farmers (men and women) on rice and rice-based cropping systems. This will include homestead, practical nutrition, agro-processing, livestock and fisheries.
