You are now leaving the IRRI managed Knowledge Bank and entering the Bangladesh site. The Bangladesh Rice Knowledge Bank (or more popularly known as the BRKB) is managed by a content group chaired by the Dr M.A. Salam, Director of Research of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute. The BRKB is being developed in close partnership with IRRI Bangladesh.

The focal person is Dr Zahirul Islam, Chief Scientific Officer and Head of the Training Division.

The BRKB focuses on ensuring up to date knowledge for extension workers and farmers (men and women) on rice and rice-based cropping systems. This will include homestead, practical nutrition, agro-processing, livestock and fisheries.
