Mature conidia are usually three-celled or 2 septate (rarely 1 or 3), pyriform (pear-shaped), hyaline or colorless to pale olive, 19-27 x 8-10 μm in size and exhibit a basal appendage at the point of attachment to the conidiophore. Conidia usually germinate from the apical or basal cells. The conidiophores are pale brown, smooth and straight, or bending. The perfect stage is rarely found in the field.
