Morphological characteristics

Perennial, scrambling, and stoloniferous grass, <1.5 m tall; panicles open, basal panicle branches usually not whorled; spikelets 4.1-5.6 mm long and 1.6-2.1 mm wide; anthers around 1.5-3 mm long.
