Learners will be people in organizations (primarily trainers/educators) with the mandate to package knowledge for impact using whatever media and methodologies suit their audience. More specifically, learners:

Learners will have the mandate to utilize the Internet for education/training. Therefore, motivation should be high.

Learners will be accustomed to face-to-face education/training but considering the hype surrounding use of the Internet, most should be interested to learn about developing instruction for the Internet VIA distance learning methodologies.

Learners will be interested to learn skills they can APPLY to their work.

Most learners will be aged 25-45, educated to at least an undergraduate level.

English will be a second language for many learners.

Personal/Physical Characteristics (geographic location, sensory, motor or mental handicaps) Learners will be geographically dispersed internationally and have the skills and abilities to operate a computer at a basic level.
