Analysis

Step 6: How will the course be delivered?
Determine an appropriate delivery system based on your analysis of the audience, resources and constraints.

  Choosing the right delivery system
The right delivery system or combination of delivery systems will depend on the results of Steps 4 & 5. For example, if your learners do not have access to the Internet or computers, it wouldn't make sense to deliver training via e-Learning. Therefore, you must consider your audience, resources and constraints when determining your delivery system.

Step 6: Determining the delivery system

For the purpose of this course and based on the following conclusion, Internet delivered e-Learning was chosen:

"

Considering that the learners for this course are geographically dispersed, busy professionals, distance learning is the most viable form of delivery. Also, considering the hype surrounding the use of the Internet for education and training, and the mandate that the learners have to make use of this technology, this would seem a good opportunity to teach the media and methodologies of Internet enabled distance learning by example."
