What are the advantages of e-Learning?
Evaluate the commonly claimed advantages of e-Learning.

e-Learning...hype or hope?

If you review the literature on e-Learning you will find recurring reference to a number of its "advantages" over classroom based learning. Just as e-Learning is neither inherently cost-efficient nor cost-effective, its advantages cannot always be assumed. When considering if a potential advantage can actually be realized, it is useful to think in terms of whether it is conditional or not (i.e. is it an automatic advantage or does it "depend" on some other factor before it can be realized).

The following exercise should help you understand the advantages of e-Learning over classroom based learning that uses print materials. Each of the advantages below is either conditional or unconditional. Classify each by clicking the appropriate button under Conditional or Unconditional.
